Ozilite - The Automatic Cigarette Lighter

Ron Leishman developed and began manufacturing the Ozilite Automatic Cigarette Lighter nearly 20 years ago. Initially the product was named Automatic Cigarette Lighter, now referred to as Ozilite; this device was developed to use in Australian correctional facilities (jails, prisons, penitentiaries etc) for their prisoners. In the late 1990's Ozilite Automatic Cigarette Lighter was introduced to the global market and this began the worldwide network of distributors. Currently the Ozilite range of products are distributed all around the world from our head office in Australia and through distributors in the USA and UK and many other resellers.

Some of the Ozilite Team

Ron
Ron is the person who started the Ozilite phenomenon about 20 years ago. Ron designed, developed and began manufacturing the Ozilite products with the intention of producing a flameless cigarette lighter to replace matches and hand held lighters in dangerous areas and situations. Today Ron still oversees the production of every lighter manufactured.

Joy

Joy has also been with Ozilite since the beginning. Joy started the business side of all the Ozilite products; including sales, despatch, accounts and marketing. Joy became the Mayor of Caboolture Shire in March 2000. Hence Joy is no longer involved in the day to day functions; however she certainly keeps up to date with the details of the business.

Adam
Adam is our Sales guru for Ozilite; he is the friendly voice at the end of the phone. Adam manages to juggle a number of tasks which include communicating with our distributors and suppliers, he assembles our orders, organises our deliveries as well as looking after our website needs.

Nigel
Nigel is our technical mind; any problems you go see Nigel. Nigel has been part of the team for over 10 years and helped with Ozilite product development in the early days as well as any changes needed to current models.

Renae
Renae is our Marketing expert for the Ozilite products. Renae develops and implements our publications, promotional materials, letters as well as assisting with website format.

Julie
Julie is our line assembly extraordinaire for Ozilite. Julie assists with producing the end products; everything from assembly to testing products.

Nicole
Nicole is our office all rounder for Ozilite. Nicole assists with administering our orders, communicating with suppliers, organising deliveries and receiving payments.

Location
Caboolture is located 40 minutes north of Brisbane, Queensland and is one of the fastest growing regions in South East Queensland. Caboolture has over 130 000 residents currently living in the shire and is expected to grow rapidly over the next decade. This great locality of Caboolture makes it easy for the despatch of all the Ozilite products. Couriers transport the Ozilite products straight to Brisbane airport in 30 minutes and then from there they can be transported anywhere in Australia and the world by air.
